My 7 year old Mahindra XUV500 SUV
Hi there,
I own a 2013 model, locally made Indian SUV - it is from a brand called Mahindra and has done 1,20,000km now. I recently gave it a little makeover with new alloy wheels. Sharing some pictures with you guys
This is an AWD or all-wheel drive model. The alloy wheels cost me Rs INR 37000 or about USD 510 in today's exchange rates. Wheel size is 17 inches
This is a 7 seater SUV that has served me pretty well over the years. Planning to shift to a different vehicle post the Corona virus issues!
Thanks for sharing the pics, and those wheels look pretty great! Here in Malaysia, I now drive my dad's 2004 Mahindra Scorpio. Picture below isn't actually mine, but it's close enough, and ours even has that front bar. It's got a 5-speed manual, which I then used to learn how to drive stick shift. Our particular Scorpio oddly has a rear-wheel drive setup, which is something that I learnt after getting stuck in the mud 🙁. Not good for off-roading, but certainly good for "sporty" driving 😅. It's nice to meet a fellow Mahindra owner, as its a pretty exclusive club here.
