Experts write that in 2015, the auto sales market collapsed by 35%

Forecasts for the coming year were also disappointing. Time passed by unnoticed and it is already possible to make first conclusions about who was right - optimists or pessimists.

In figures, this is 104 thousand cars sold. It's about cars without mileage. The statistics intentionally did not include light commercial vehicles (LCV). At the same time, the implementation of new cars has continued to decline. In February, the fall was more than 13%.

But in the luxury segment the situation is the opposite.
As for auto sales in the secondary market, the results here were somewhat better. In total for February 2016 the new owner acquired more than 370 thousand cars with mileage, which is almost 11% better than a year ago. This recovery is largely due to the influx of buyers, who in times of crisis are not able to buy a new car.

And how are things abroad, in particular, on the Old Continent? It turned out that there has been a steady increase in auto sales here for more than a month. The first line of the rating went to Germany, where 250302 new cars were sold, which is 12.1% more than before. German specialists note that these are the best results for the last fourteen years. Twenty percent increase in orders gives automakers and dealers confidence in the future.

Then follows Italy. During the last winter month, 169,678 cars were bought in the country. This is by as much as 27.3% more than a year earlier. The last time such high rates of auto sales were observed in the Apennine peninsula only in 2010. But then the state program of utilization bonuses was still in effect.
The first three countries are closed by France, where auto sales increased by 13%. A total of 166739 cars were sold.
