Hey Steemians,
Hope y'all are great and having a positive week too. Today I want to share with you one inspiring story of a boy who started working and following his dreams at a young age, for whatever we put our heart and soul into we can achieve and yes he did achieve it big time.

The boy was known as Christian Erland Harald Von Koenigsegg, he was born in Sweden on 2nd July 1972 and he's the founder of Swedish high performance Supercar manufacturer KOENIGSEGG AUTOMOTIVE AB. His name is long and similar to his cars so I will refer to him as CvK mostly in this post.

Christian Von Koenigsegg started showing interest in cars at a very young age of 5 after watching one movie called Flaklypa Gran Prix about a bicycle builder who built a racing car and that would be one single inspiration that he would ever need. He then started driving Go-Karts at the age of 6 and he vividly recalls and describes it as the best days of his life. He continued as any of us did with formal education and everything that we all did when we were growing up. Later on in life CvK started working at a Suzuki dealership in Stockholm Sweden as a car cleaner but he never lost focus because on the side he use to tune mopeds as a hobby and everyone in his area knew him for that.

In 1994 CvK launched the Koenigsegg project where a designer named David Craaford created a design concept for a prototype following Christian Von Koenigsegg guidelines and that enabled the foundation of KOENIGSEGG AUTOMOTIVE AB to come to life. This was the start for CvK to build something big that would be a world renowned brand.

Christian Von Koenigsegg Innovation:
CvK is a person who thinks outside the box and invents some technologically advanced motorized parts which he then uses in his cars. His first profound innovation was when he came up with the Triplex Rear Mounted Suspension System which is transversely mounted shock absorbers that connects rear wheels and independent suspension system for each wheel and thus maximum comfort and improved straight line speed are achieved and he uses this in all his cars today.
CvK also pursued a free valve technology by using electronics & air pressure to actuate intake & exhaust valves. This provides very high precision and unlimited timing control, instead of the traditional camshaft technology for his cars, allowing for engines to be much more efficient by reducing weight and size of engines, while making each cylinder able to be controlled independently, allowing for more complete combustion.

Let me summarize Christian Von Koenigseggs story here here and whatever else I missed:
-CvK started his passion and invention early
-In 1994 he launched the Koenigsegg project
-Shortly after he launched his company Koenigsegg Automotive AB
-2003 he goes through problem as his factory was devastated by fire but luckily was able to save the cars on production and equipment from total destruction.
-2004 he moves his factory in an aeroplane hangar and starts his production from there.
-Same year he released his new car Koenigsegg CCX
-2005 he released the Koenigsegg CCXR
-2010 released the new line called Koenigsegg Agera
-2014 he released the mega car known as the Koenigsegg One:1 which had the weight to power ratio of 1:1
-2015 at the Geneva Auto Show he released 2cars the Koenigsegg Regera hypercar and the high performance Koenigsegg Agera RS. The Koenigsegg Regera has one speed gearbox powered by electric motor.
Note: Each one of his production cars are worth around $2 million.
He's continuing to innovate and produce
what he loves best to date. He has a net worth of more than $100s of millions and to be honest even if you watch his videos you'll notice he is a very down to earth person
