Bad accident, bad timing

Hello people,

Decided to make another post, this time about the accident that I personally didn't take part in, but my car sure did 😀

Starting from the day it happened on, which was last Friday, so exactly a week ago, I got a call from my girlfriend who was returning from work. She called to say "I just got rear-ended bad, if you wanna see it, come to this place which is 10 minutes from our home". Even though i knew she was fine and she wasn't at fault, I got so angry at the man who rear-ended the car and started shaking. I threw on my jacket and got in my other car, that does not drive so well as of now, but atleast it took me there 😀 As i got there I started swearing and talking to the man who crashed into her. To think of it now, wasn't the greatest idea, because the man was actually a cool guy, pretty relaxed and took the blame right away, but he only talked about himself and his car and how he has to pay for his car himself and our car will be repaired and payed by the insurance. Which obviously made me a bit more pissed 😀. As soon as i got there I wanted the police to take pictures and form the documents so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings afterwards. So they came and they did. This is the crash:


Doesn't look bad at all. But the fact that the insurance wanted to pay me some money, because to them the repairs would cost more than the car, even though they had only seen the pics, made it a bit worse. To conclude everything that has happened. The car is now in the workshop, being looked at and then the calculations will be sent to the insurance company and then MAYBE will get it back some day in the next week. Either repaired or with some cash in my hand and a broken car. I could live with some dents, but the worst of it is, that the boot lid doesn't close after I got it to open.
The bad timing comes in from the fact, that my girlfriend is working in a place where it just makes sense to go to with a car, so we took it from my mother and I'm stuck either walking or driving with a car that isn't as safe as it should be. That might be a future post 😉

Thanks for reading my, what seems to be a story of a little touch made by two cars from a perspective of a bystander, that actually is very stressing because of the bad communication from the insurance company, but still my post 😀
