Nissan will participate in the next iteration of the Consumer Electronics Show in January highlighting its advanced Intelligent Mobility. Apart from that, the Japanese carmaker plans to showcase a “very interesting future technology regarding vehicle control…which may cause a lot of thinking”.

Electric and autonomous technologies are the rage these days and Nissan wants to showcase their prowess at the CES. The IMx Concept will make its second appearance after the Tokyo Motor Show whereas the new-gen Leaf EV with the 2018 model year update will also be showcased. The Leaf comes loaded with Nissan’s latest technologies such as e-Pedal and ProPilot Assist which is the Japanese carmaker’s take on autonomous future. Additional features will include the 2018 Rogue which now also comes with the ProPilot Assist feature. The Rogue is Nissan’s bestselling crossover in the States, and hence showcasing the vehicle with their latest technologies is the prime intention for the Kanagawa-based carmaker.

The CES is an important platform for major manufacturers to showcase their technological prowess on a global scale. With the electric and autonomous future, we expect many other carmakers to come with many such futuristic concepts and technologies at the 2018 CES. The show opens its gate on 9 January 2018.
