History of the automobile
-The history of the automobile begins with the self-propelled steam vehicles of the 18th century. In 1885, the first car was created by an internal combustion engine with gasoline. It is divided into a series of stages marked by the main technological milestones.
-One of the most characteristic inventions of the 20th century has undoubtedly been the automobile
-self-propelled engines:
-Stage of the invention:Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot (1725-1804), French writer and inventor, took the big step by building a steam car, initially designed to drag artillery pieces. The Fardier, as Cugnot called it, began to circulate through the streets of Paris in 1769. It was a tricycle that mounted on the front wheel a boiler and a motor with two vertical cylinders and 50 liters of displacement; the front wheel was tractor and guideline at the same time, working the two cylinders directly on it. In 1770 he built a second model, larger than the first, and could drag 4.5 tons at a speed of 4 km / h. With this version occurred what could be considered the first car accident in history.
-In 1784 William Murdoch built a steam car model and in 1801 Richard Trevithick drove a car in Camborne (United Kingdom) .1 In these first vehicles, innovations such as the handbrake, speeds and steering wheel were developed.
-In 1815 Josef Bozek built a car with an engine powered by oil.2 In 1838, Walter Hancock built a four-seater phaeton powered by steam. And that same year, Robert Davidson built an electric locomotive that reached 6 km per hour. Between 1832 and 1839 Robert Anderson invented the first car powered by non-rechargeable electric cells.
-Around 1870, in Vienna, the inventor Siegfried Marcus operated the gasoline-based internal combustion engine, known as the "Marcus's First Car". In 1883, Marcus patented a low-voltage ignition system that was implanted in subsequent models.
-It is commonly accepted that the first gasoline cars were almost simultaneously developed by German engineers working independently: Karl Benz built his first model (the Benz Patent-Motorwagen) in 1885 in Mannheim. Benz patented it on January 29, 1886 and began producing it in 1888. Soon after, Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach, of Stuttgart, designed their own car in 1889.
-intrusion:Until then they were creating more cars to improve the capacity of each car for a better life.
