Ferrari driver writes off new car on the Motorway an hour after it was bought

After owing his new £200, 000 Ferrari for just an hour, a driver lost control of the car on the motorway before it veered off course and burst into flames

This driver is on the other side of luck when it literally ran on him. He picked up a dream Ferrari for £260, 000 ($340, 000) and just about an hour later the high-performance Ferrari 430 Scuderia was completely smashed and wrecked. In the police account the described how the car "went airborne" in wet conditions. As if luck still on the side of the driver, he only walked away from the severe incident with cuts and bruises.

The car went off the road to about 50 metres down a bank and ended up in a plain field before it was set ablaze by the emerging flames which was later extinguished by local firefighters.

When asked what kind of car he was driving, the driver blushed and replied: "it was a Ferrari. I've only just got it, picked it up an hour ago."

What a dream lost!
