Day Zero pushed back to May 11 (Cape Town)
So today I heard that since capetonians have been behaving themselves and finally taking this seriously, the water demand has dropped off. Therefore, Day Zero has been pushed back to May 11. I am hoping that people do not decide that all is well and begin abusing water once again. If you missed my video about the political reasons we are running out of water, you can watch it in several places online.

STOPSounds like another dumb decision as Feb March are usually the hottest months in SA. They should have waited at least until middle of March before releasing this 11 May deadline extension. Let's hope they know something we don't LOL.
Silly idea. I just hope people continue to economise. I've been scripting a new video with several ideas to recycle water at home for reuse and to avoid people pouring it down the drain and into the ocean. It's better if we pour it into the earth.
