What is autoflowering weed? Here's my favourite strain to smoke #381
Here is a post about my favourite strain of weed. Its called Fast and Vast and it is an autoflower strain. This is the one strain i always have from i first got it around 4 years ago. I like everything about it, it smells great, tastes great, has a great hit and is a good all rounder.
What are Autoflowers?
Most people think there are 2 types of weed, indica and sativa but there are actually 3. The third is called ruberalis, this type of weed automatically switch's from vegging into flowering and is not dependent on the hours of lights it receive's like normal strains. Ruberalis were found growing in areas that received 24 hours of light in 1924 and contain less THC. But after years of breeding them with stronger strains they can be as much as 90% strong of the original strain. They will grow with any amount of light, tend to be smaller, yield less but are perfect for small indoors grows and the best part, idiot proof. Its basically set your timers, spout seed and plant into final pot, (feast and famine feeding) water when you pick up the pot and it feels like no weight is in the soil for the next 10 weeks, cut, trim, dry, cure and smoke.

Hemp would have used for loads of important stuff in history and all wiped away. The schooling system is awesome.

It will happen in our lifetimes i think.
It not legal here but the rules are slack for small growers. He friends says that getting caught with 1-4 plants is a slap ont he wirst and i fine, anymore and you would need to prove your not selling it even if you are, are, are not selling.
Its pretty handy with auto, you can plant them during late spring and it doesnt matter how long or short they day is :) will germinate some in the near future for my greenhouse :)
And if your timer messes up are your electric cuts, no worrys :)

Seeds cost more and you cant clone from them. Once you spout them, they are on a timer. You cant hold them back by keeping the lights on 18 hours. I forgot to say that, lol. I was smoking and writing.
But yeah, seed to harvest in 10 weeks geting around 3-4 ozs per plant, 4-6 oz's per plant of scrog'd. Well, so i have heard
absolut right but its perfect if you living in a state without many light hours :) so they grow with 12/12 and also with 24 hours of light and start flower without a light impulse. Some strains are really fast like 75 days till harvest from seed. And you can grow all plants under the same light and dont need to put them under a other light if they should flower :D
Yeah, my friend grows indoors and keeps them at 20 on 4 off the whole process.
ruderalis are beautiful because you can grow "low riders" under a stairwell or in a cabinet, and flower a bunch of little foot-tall guys. This makes me think of a question: if the typical binomial nomenclature form is capitalized genus, lower-cased species, lower-cased variety/cultivar, then do you capitalize the species name if you are starting a sentence with it? (eg ruderalis)
Anyway, there is sometimes recognized a fourth variety of cannabis as well, known as afghanica, which is often lumped in with indica, as it has similar characteristics. I however, disagree and think that it is a distinct variety, and perhaps a better expression of the Asian landraces.
