Archaeologists find 2,500 year old skeleton wrapped in cannabis
Archaeologists have discovered the oldest stock of cannabis in the grave of a 35 year old man who died about 2500 years.
The skeleton is of a man of Caucasian who was tricky lie on a wooden bed with a cushion of grass. A on his body were placed 13 cannabis plants with a length of each of one meter.
"This unique discovery gives us new insight into the ritual use of cannabis in prehistoric Central Eurasia," writes the team discovered the skeleton.
"It is clear that cannabis has been used by people in the area for ritual or medicinal purposes during the first millennium BC."

I wonder if they knew how to decarb the cannabis back then? Or if they just eat it raw, which it has many medicinal benefits as well, without the intoxicating effect.
