Stoner Tested And Geek Approved, Let's Have A Look At 7 Pipe
Right on!!! My order from Bob HQ arrived this afternoon and I am really excited to show you some of the new gear that I purchased to test. I'm starting with the Twisty-Glass Blunt.
Generally speaking, I am not a smoker. I never have been. I prefer vapourizers. However I watched a review on one of these glass apparatuses about 6 months ago and I wanted to try one of these ever since.
It's a paperless joint so that means no contamination of the herb's natural flavours.
The glass tube has rubber stoppers for both ends. You use 1 of the stoppers when you load it with your ground herb, then you insert the cork-screw which has the mouth piece at one end.
The mouth piece cork-screw acts just like a small auger, and it moves the fresh herb down the glass tube with a simple turn. This allegedly ensures that every inhalation is just as flavourful as the first. Due to this auger design, it's also supposed to be 30% cooler than a traditional joint when you inhale.
Today I learned that "Borosilicate" glass is made with silica and boron trioxide. This makes this glass resistant to expansion and thermal shock so it's less prone to breakage compared to regular glass.
I have to admit that I am a little nervous to fill this puppy right up with precious herb. Fully loaded, it will hold 2 grams so my plan is to start with a little bit and just see what the experience is like. I'll be doing this in about 2 hours from now and I'll be sure to let you all know what I think about it.
This piece of gear is made in San Francisco, USA. For more information, have a look at their website: www.7pipe.com .
I welcome your comments and I invite you to follow me on my journey...blazing it as we go.

30% cooler?! That's awesome! Keeps more of the terps and flavor!
I LOVE it!!! Just used some Platinum Purple Kush in it and well, I pretty much love the whole universe right now. LOL! Takes a lot and I mean a lot of herb. Felt like I was grinding for 15 minutes. Taste was more intense in flavour than my vapourizer. (I use an air rizer air solo 2) That shocked me.
Oh this looks really cool. I hope this brings a good experience!
It's fantastic!!! I love it. It's like a big fat cigar that doesn't burn the back of your throat.
I have smoke through all kinds of pipes and water pipes and you name it but I've never seen nothing like that
Well, I am happy to report that it works phenomenally @cowboyk. I was pleasantly surprised and very pleased. Flavour was really good.
I've never seen anything like it.
I just went on youtube and looked at some reviews and it seems like the purest way to have your cannabis without contaminants.
It seems pretty well designed and it sounds better if it is 30% cooler than the usual joint @rebeccaryan haha
It's fantastic! The flavour is more intense than my vapourizer and once I learned not to take too large of a draw off of it, it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. It did not rip the back of my throat, which surprised me. ;)
@rebeccaryan
Just as you have been. So have I. I never was a smoker. Just didn't like it from the beginning. Now drinking. Bring it on. Ha
Oh, yes. When I was younger. I tried to inhale. I don't know if I was successful or not. I never ever noticed anything much. I liked uppers. Not so much downers.
That was years ago. I am old now.
I can remember the green being like an upper and the brown being sort of like a downer. I was half lite anyway. Ha
I hope this works out for you. I know that you have had a better life because of cannabis. So this might just be another good help in your search for the best.
Francis
Oh Francis, some day, I will help you so that you know for sure what it's like without a doubt.
Happy and relaxed. Then you have the best sleep.
This product is delightful and I am happy that I purchased it...although I'm feeling very happy about a lot of things at the moment. LoL!
@rebeccaryan
Ha ha. I am glad you were feeling very happy at that moment. Maybe even now. lol
I can remember the good ole days when I was happy. I am not unhappy now. Just that age has tempered my willingness to float out there too far. Ha
I do know though. And it was good.
Francis
Ok, Francis we really need to talk about this...
Cannabis has greatly changed in the last 40 years.
Now we have strains that don't float your mind at all because they aren't psychoactive. Their benefit is that they greatly lower inflammation and provide pain relief.
I regularly recommend these strains for injury prevention before people do heavy work for days on end...just like you on your Iron Horse...and there are topical liniments too that work fantastically...I'm telling you it's a whole new world. ;)
@rebeccaryan
Take my to your brave new world. I trust you completely.
Maybe. Ha Ha Just kidding.
In our world. We live in the "brave old world." Nothing is legal. Don't ask.
In your brave new world. Help is on the way.
I was reading that Oregon is passing a law where no drugs are criminal.
Maybe I could hitchhike up there. Save gas money. Squeak, squeak.
OK. Back to reality. I would love your "new world." The men and women in the
blue suits haven't heard of your world yet.
Takes a little time. We will get there.
Thank you for searching and learning for us. The squeak may be for real in these old bones. It is reassuring to know you could have a remedy.
Francis
sounds pretty cool @rebeccaryan
It works great! I Love it!!!
Stoner Tested And Geek Approved! Too funny :) And who is the stoner and the geek that tested and approved the pipe? :)
I don't know the original Stoner and the original Geek, but I can tell you that I tested it and I LOVE it!
Works phenomenally well.
Very cool! I always said cannabis is a gateway drug...a gateway to engineering, carpentry, brewing, gardening....learning in general.
Off to check this neat new tool. Thanks for posting.
I couldn't agree more @majorbigtime! The people involved in the cannabis culture have some of the most resourceful, creative and innovative minds on the plant. Why is this?...because they have unlocked their human potential using the power of plant medicine.
Welcome to my blog and to Steemit.
I have followed you. :)
Maybe you are not aware, but I'm really a huge smoker since more than 15 years now, but have never tried this one!
I'm trying to quit smoking as i really smoke a lot and sometimes i don't feel well.
Still looking forward to your experience with this one!
Cheers
@progressivechef
Cannabis or tobacco Chef?
Sad to say it my friend...Tobacco, I really need to find some natural ways to stop it. If you have any solution or advise, it will be the most welcomed. But still i've diminished a lot compared to before but i really want to stop it completely.
I've seen these, "twisty blunts" as they were called where I saw them for sale, and have been interested in how they hold up and how the intake is with them. As of typing this comment I just realized you posted this a few days ago, thus your review is probably posted as well. Followed so I can check out some more of your stuff!
From my research, the company makes 2 sizes. A larger one, which is the one that I bought and a mini one, which the company that I buy my equipment from doesn't carry. I am going to try to find a supplier for the mini and buy one of those next. I really love this glass blunt. I actually haven't written a review on it yet. I thought that on Friday, I would make a video of it so that I can demonstrate how you load it and how much vapour it produces...I'll send you a note when I get this made.
Hey, thanks for the info and look forward to the heads up when you post the review. I followed you as well so hopefully I'll see it in my feed. Cheers!
