I bet my bong is older than yours....
Hey guys! So, I was inspired by a recent post by @sunrock asking fellow cannabis lovers to share photos of their bongs. WELL...mine deserves its own post. Why? Because he's been in use basically every day since 2002. 2002!!!
I'll share a quick synopsis of his life. In 2002, I was in college, living in a co-ed dorm. One of my closest friends to this day was living next door. Out of all the bad luck in the world, he ended up with a police officer as a room mate. Seriously. You can't make this stuff up. So, my friend showed up at my door one day with two bongs in his hands - and in true Matrix fashion (it was still recent!) asked me to choose the blue or the red...the conditions of the gift was that he could come to my room at any time of day to smoke since it was out of the question at his place. Of course, I said yes! Can you imagine not being able to smoke when you want? Fuck that. Maybe this is where our bond started forming, as he was the first true cannabis snob I've met. He would literally pull away most of the outside of the nugs (already trimmed, mind you) and cast it off to the side. He would only smoke the untouched portion of the bud. The rest got swept into a solo cup and at the end of the week I'd have enough shake for a few blunts, at least. He was always kind enough to leave a handful of nugs whenever he stopped by, especially during the weird hours while he was pledging. Anyways, friendship formed for life, and @nutinbutdatruth and I just attended his wedding last summer.
Look! I've kicked this guy so many times, I cant even count. Theres a pretty serious crack line running all the way around the bong, but it doesnt seem to affect anything. Weebles Wobbles but he dont fall down. I've been looking for the same bong every where I go, because I know his retirement is coming sooner than later. If anyone has seen his brothers or sisters, please let me know!!!

joints make my throat hurt, weird. i think the paper burns hotter or something. but i do love blunts so that doesnt really make sense. :)
Excellent article. It reminds me of a bong I have by a company owned by Tommy Chong. I havent used that one in years though cause a piece in it broke, so I have just been using this green acrylic bong. My favorite ever was this 2 foot Matrix bong that I had all thru college back in the 90s. It was acrylic but it just meant so much to me cause it was my #1 bong for years. Its name ended up being Baker 4:20. I threw a party at my house in like 2001 and some fucker stole it, which makes me really mad to this day cause there were so many memories in that bong.
I wish I had a picture of it, but it was purple, and I remember it was the same length as a tennis racquet, cause I used to play a lot of tennis so I would jut keep it in a tennis racquet case. In fact, during the summer of 99 I rode Greyhound across Virginia a couple of times, and I would always travel with what appeared to be 2 tennis racquets. One was actually a racquet but the other was Baker.
this is such a stoner response, i love it. did you keep the broken tommy chong bong? is it fixable? i cant believe someone would steal a bong! well, i guess i can. fuckers. and the tennis racquet case is genius. all bongs should be made tennis racquet length. :p ppl probably thought you were a tennis pro, needed TWO racquets. this guy is my baker, i guess. except not stolen. just special and holds tons of memories. but now that i find out its also rare, and irreplaceable, im becoming paranoid about using it! literally no other bong has hit the way this one does though....wahhh.
It sucks when you love something but have to be paranoid about using it because it could break at any time. I hope you find one just like the one you have. It sucks that people would steal a bong, especially in a rural area where you and your siblings were the ones throwing the party, but thats how a lot of people are where Im from. We had a bunch of CDs and a few other things stolen at that party, which made my dad even more pissed when he found out. I did actually play on my school's tennis team back then, so I had 2 or 3 of the same racquet. Its amazing how those cases fit Baker perfectly. I just got really used to the way that bong hit, so it never really could be replaced, and there are so many memories with it. I do still have the Chong bong and need to see if I can find the piece. I bought the wrong piece a while back and then just kinda gave up on it for some reason.

Broke my bong a few years back, bought it in Amsterdam.
But since I usually dont smoke it pure I never bought one again!
I would freak out living with the popo under the same roof, I wouldn't last 2 weeks.

Haha I know tabbaco gives a extra punch.
For us its normal, if we smoke pure, it feels like part of the high is gone.
But I would like to switch to smoking pure!
It feels more natural, tabbaco gives extra heavy stoned kind of feeling, while the strain you smoke might be a uplifting strain.
it sort of made me queasy, like fanto leaf. give it a try! but remember your tolerance will be much lower so you might just feel extra stoney in the beginning regardless of the strain.
Just look it up on google, might need to order a few of those!!

Id say its more blunt-like than joint-like. Most people prefer the darker leaves. I used to get them for $1 or $3 depending on the size and itll last you a week! And you can control how much leaf actually goes into your roll. In theory, I love it!
Is it a kaos? Look for the stamp someplace in the glass. If it is I have one. Last of them went on sale long ago. That's why it's hidden. Too rare to lose...
Rare?! I had no idea!!! If only there were a similar bong that hits as hard on the market, Id put him in a glass case, lol. Any idea why they stopped selling them?

hahaha i usually hate that in a photo, but it was obviously in use just prior to the "photoshoot" :D I LOVE TO SMOKE AND HIKE. How can you not smoke while on a hike? (But also like to smoke and basically everything). I think some of us from the SoCal Steemit meet up were planning on a hike soon...and some camping trips....

Olde town? never been there. Some of my favorites are Chantry Flats, Charmlee Wildlife Park, Wildwood Canyon, And Monrovia Nature preserve. Think there are some more but can't think of them right now, hehe.
