It's not often that I get to try new strains. We buy most of my meds from a co-op we belong to and sometimes I'll be smoking the same strain for weeks at a time. Which is fine, but it's a rare treat when I get to try something new that I end up really liking. That was the case today with this strain. It's called Boss Hogg and it's become an instant favorite for me. If you're into cannabis and learning about it, read on!

Stopped by the dispensary after the kids were dropped off at school and came home with this golden sugar wax! It was an awesome price at $23/gram. This is more expensive than we pay with our co-op, but as far as dispensary prices around here go, this is pretty cheap. Usually it's between 30-40/ gram. The part that caught my eye was the high CBD content. 3% claims the package. I'm aware that often the levels are far lower than advertised on the package, so I usually try to get the highest % possible. I like the CBD for the pain numbing effects. I've been having tooth pain this week and it's driving me crazy. This strain knocked the pain out cold. Let's have a look at it.

Right away, as soon as I opened the outer plastic, I could smell a fruity scent. When I opened the container itself the aroma was fantastic! Light and fruity and I definitely smelled melon also. The crystals were nice and golden and sticky. Let's try it!

I'm gonna use my trusty nectar collector. I love this thing. So easy to use. Just heat it up and go!

Uh huh. Yep. It tastes amazing too! At first I tasted candy on the inhale. But...on the exhale it tasted like melon! Wtf? Ok, that was pretty cool. The high itself is also pleasant. It's giving both a good head and body high. It's rare for me to find a strain that does both for me. Plus the pain relief! I'm giving this strain a 10/10. It's straight heaven and if you ever come across it yourself, I highly recommend it!

I'm hoping this strain will help me find patience with my children this evening when they get home from school. We've been potty training this weekend. Please, just. Pray for us ya'll. My carpet is covered in mysterious wet brown spots that smell like urine, but I'm pretty sure there's feces in there too you guys. This is the part of motherhood that I'm just not ok with. It's gross, it's dirty, but godammit, it's gotta be done. I just need to be able to relax and try not to stress out about it. I know that before long they will have mastered this new skill and someday I won't have to wipe anyone's butt anymore. HA!
