RE: The Kenneth Kiebler dragon! And good news.
I actually just talked to a friend of mine who is another fellow gardener. Funny you should bring up the aquaponics subject.
Back in the day my friend had built the best most high tech perfect grow room he could possibly manage. The day he absolutely and completely finished all work on it and it was ready.... He came to visit.
We were watching a video about aquaponics and he got extremely mad. His perfect grow room could be just a little better.
Having done it several times before and definitely looking to try it again... Now I have to follow you and see how it turns out.
Other than just making sure you don't overload the fish Emulsion soil on the top of grow beds... Which you can use in other gardening areas. PH and ammonia balance has to be monitored carefully however it is an excellent system that I was hoping to get setup to do next year. All you need is just a maggot Farm to feed the fish and pretty much you are completely self-contained.
In short aquaponics rocks.
Ye aquaponics is wonderful no better way exists to grow plants and fish. Well if you see some of my aquaponics posts the grow bed tech has a pre vortex filter to get rid of all the solids rather important as you say you don't need a build up of nasties. The plants do remove much of them though as well as the bacteria in the system etc. Wonderful way to grow food it really is.
