A judge in Alameda County, California, has made good on a legislative change that got passed back in 2016, by recently moving to sign a new order recently that is going to now reduce thousands of cannabis cases for individuals who have a record over this plant.

California had until July 1st to implement the new law and make these changes.

With the new rules, there are more than 6,000 individuals with felony cases that are eligible to have them now reduced to misdemeanors. That isn't all either, there is another more than 1,200 individuals that can also have their own misdemeanor cannabis cases now reduced to infractions.

Since legalization has been implemented in various places, with some opting for some decriminalization as well, it has fueled the move for thousands of records to be reduced and expunged.

It was a waste of time, paper, and manpower, to police those actions and personal choices in the first place. The less violence that can be exerted against peaceful individuals over cannabis the better our communities will be for it.

Cannabis growers, traders, and users etc, are no threat to their community, not the threat that the government or some healthcare "experts", or television personalities want you to believe they are.
