This is fascinating. I had never thought about cannabis for skin protection. However, I have some seborrhoeic dermatitis on my face that I used to treat with topical steroids, which had unpleasant side effects like thinning my skin, so it was more likely to crack and bleed. Gross, I know. Anyway, I recently found a cannabis skin cream that has both CBD and THC in it. It has cleared up my dermatitis better than the steroids ever did, and so far there don’t seem to be any side effects that I’ve noticed. It’s cheaper than the steroids to boot!

For sun, my strategy is to limit exposure but I definitely will think about seeing if the cream might be useful as sunblock or putting on after sun exposure.
