Uk ban on cannabis/marijuana and yet they are the biggest supply chain in the world
Today is the day that i finally start my steemit journey... i also want to share a post that is close to my heart. its a major topic here in the united kingdom at the moment people are suffering needlesly due to our goverment being corrupt.....im ryan and i will be posting information storys and pictures about cannabis also landscape photos and anything else that takes my fancy

Not sure how the UK Home Office is going to explain their way out of this one...
In the united kingdom it is against the law for anyone to posess cannabis in any form if it contains above 0.2 %thc. The only way is if a doctor prescribes you sativex at a cost of roughly 400 gbp for 250 sprays its not a cost affective treatment. Might i add that most of this is GW pharmas profits as in the USA similer products can be purchased for a fraction of the price..

At the same time our goverment are telling us that cannabis is not a form of medicine,punishing us with prison or fines , makings us scared and anxious just for trying to stay healthy or for enjoying ourselves .comeon we all know alcohol prescription drugs even caffine kills and cannabis doesn't.
.... all the while britain is holding the No1 spot of bring the biggest cannabis suppliers in the WORLD..is this a joke

Its all down to PROFIT
...kind of makes sense why so many UK patients are smoking "skunk" when you realise it's actually the same variety of cannabis as pharmaceutical companies use!
And makes you wonder, what else could be the cause of paranoia and anxiety...like the fact obtaining it in the UK is ILLEGAL and could land you a CRIMINAL RECORD!

Awesome post man! Love it :) its crazy how as adults we don't have the choice to smoke a plant if we choose to! But we are allowed to go out and drink and loose our mind completely forgetting what has happened, causing danger to ourselves and others... its so ridiculous here!
Silly old fashioned laws and strange people in power who are unconnected with true life. Its gotta get made legal soon... within 5 years? Im praying for it! haha!

thanks for the feedback dude. I think its mainly down to ignorance and greed. Big pharma certainly doesn't want to loose any money! that's why its the facts have been covered up for such a long time...have you seen the journey of little Alfie ? at least they have allowed a 3month trial. thing is what about the rest of the people who need access now ? I've personally seen cannabis oil (not just cbd) help many aliments including 2-3 people with cancer...its not a complete cure but thc is proven to create apoptosis of most cancer cells ...our body needs cannabinoids to maintain a healthy regulation.

Yea man big pharma doesn’t want to loose out... it’s the same shit with having plastic switch to bio materials, even cryptos getting cracked down... it’s all the big greedy fuckers at the top trying to run shit in their old fashioned control driven ways.
Yea man it’s great they’ve allowed a 3 month trail but exactly what about the rest? Exactly man it’s not a complete cure but as you said there are proven positive effects, but again the people in control are so outside of what the real world is they can’t think remotely like the people.

when you say abroad, where do you mean? lots of countries now allow the use of cannabis in some form at least. the wind up here, is the fact the government tell the people its not safe. while growing the same plant by the ton or 10 lol. thanks for the comment.
