Thanks for this. I haven't quite yet learn to grow this stuff, so I wouldn't mind. Then again, not being able to see what stage the plant is in, that could be a little difficult, right? Do you know of anyone who's managed to grow these without Vision? I would be very curious, having been legally blind at Birth.

Oh man, you could try to grow them by the smell only and the results could be amazing!
never thought of that. And what's really funny, I smell things that other people don't even notice half of the time. It doesn't mean that my sense of smell is any better than the rest of the world, I think I just use it

Right, but touching them doesn't actually help them grow does it? I didn't think we had that close of a relationship with the plant kingdom. In fact recent events that I've gone too, proves that were closest to fungi, rather than plants.

Yep, we are basically a fungus transport device. Some people think the oils from our hands are actually bad for the leaves, but I think gently touching them is really good for the plants. Many growers say they can feel that their plants are living things & have a relationship with them. Feeding off each other’s energies. I’d be really curious if u felt that connection even stronger with your plants, I’m sure there are a lot of things you can pick up on that most miss.
Next time I get the opportunity to touch one, I'll see what it feels like. The only ones I've ever been exposed to have already died.

interesting conversation.. Has either of you been pulled to awareness of your plants needs, from a distance.. Then when you get there they really did need attention.. or maybe i'm just coo coo for cocoa puffs
If I ever get the opportunity to grow some, I'll be sure to let you know. That sounds actually quite adorable, though.
