There are plenty of cannabinoids in the leaf material to get you high. There are even reports of people using male plants that aren't even flowering to make Bhang (cannabis milk) in India :-D!
I was reading something the other day there’s actually more thc in males then females by ratio in some instances. Maybe I’ll use my male flowers after i pollinate my females
It’s the sugar leaves trimmed off the buds. I have a lot saved up from past harvests.
But you can use bud too, but remember it will be more potent 👍
