Please help my friend!
My dear friends, please take a moment of your time and read the story of my best friend Vitaliy. I’m collecting funds on behalf of Vitaliy’s wife, Tatyana.
Please join me in this effort!
Hi. I am Tatyana, and I’m begging you to read the message below.
I am here to ask for your kind help for my husband.
His name is Vitaliy, he’s forty and he lives in Kiev, Ukraine.
In October this year, our family was stricken by a terrifying diagnosis: stage 4 cancer, adenocarcinoma of the stomach with metastases reaching the bones. Vitaliy is undergoing chemotherapy at LISOD clinic in Kiev, based FLO protocol. The clinic has suggested new immune-stimulating treatment, which has proven effective specifically with stomach adenocarcinoma. One therapy course costs ~10,000 Euro, and we cannot miss this opportunity to prolong Vialiy’s life.
I am begging for your help in this fundraising initiative to collect the necessary amount of money and prolong life to the beloved husband, loving father, dearest son and a great friend. We believe in Vitaliy, his stamina and desire to live. We believe that miracles can happen in real life and we will greatly appreciate any kind of help you could offer.
A few words about our family.
My name is Tatyana Tabur. Vitaliy and I started dating at age 17, which means we’ve been together for 22 years now - more than half of our lives! We have two sweet kids, our son Daniel is eight and our little daughter Lada is just six month old. Vitaliy loves cars, oriental martial arts and photography. I paint with aqua and oil – these are paintings for kids. Daniel loves playing piano and composing the music, while Lada is just learning to crawl :)
In other words, we’ve had a sweet, calm and cozy family life, like many of you do, untill it stopped in October 2017.
In September 2017, Vitaliy started suffering from aches in his back. Then, nausea came up and the appetite dropped sharply. In early October, he was hospitalized as doctors suspended stomach ulcer. In just two weeks, his weight decreased from 72 kg to 60 kg (158 lbs to 132 lbs), now he is at 56 kg (123 lbs). His condition was getting worse every day. Suspecting a stomach tumor, doctors have assigned a biopsy and a tomography. While biopsy did not deliver any significant information, computer tomography has identified a cancer tumor at stage 4, which was later confirmed after another biopsy procedure. This was the scariest day in our lives.
Doctors forecast up to 1,5 years life expectancy, if we keep permanent chemotherapies. Another immunostimulating medicine, recommended by clinic, may prolong Vitaliy’s life significantly, but the cost of the medication is 10,000 Euro.
Unfortunately, our family doesn’t have this money. We are running now the chemotherapy that costs 1,000 Euro, and we need your help to find the costs for the more efficient medication.
When I speak of Vitaliy, I see the most loving husband and the best father for our kids you could think of. And he is the most stubborn man that I know :) I strongly believe in him and his struggle for life. There probably was a reason that he’s got the most “vital” name when he was born. He never gives up and always gets to his goals, does not look for easy ways and keeps walking the roads that others would surrender. Vitaliy has lots of friends, who take this grief to their hearts, support us and together we believe that he will be there for us for many more years.
With all depth of my heart, I’m asking you: please help! Even a small amount of money from many kind people may grant us some time and the chance to be together. With your support, Vitaliy may see Lada’s first steps and hear her first words, he may keep being proud with Daniel’s piano wins. Your help may save the child to his parents and give me the happiness of being loved.
This time is priceless for us.
We believe in success, in life and in miracle.
And we appreciate your kindness.
We cannot use our Ukrainian bank account at this site, and we cannot open the account in the bank abroad. Therefore we ask to send your donations to the account of Dmytro Vakulenko - our family friend, who now lives in Germany.
Dmytro will then pass this money to us in cash - in person, or via friends travelling from Germany, as he already did. This way, we will save some significant money on banking transfer services.
The amount we aim is 10,850 Euro - this will cover at least one treatment course for Vitaliy.
Thanks in advance for your open hearts and help!
With Best Regards!
