Sentinel of the Eastern Sea - Across Canada, Day 89 of 92

Late in December last year I finally arrived at the easternmost shore of Newfoundland, as far as you can go in that direction and still be on Canadian and North American soil. I arrived in the night at Cape Spear and, guided by the lighthouse, walked up to the top of the hill from where you can see the expanse of the Atlantic ocean stretching out into the darkness towards Europe and another world.
