Camping and the importance of enjoying nature!
So my birthday was this weekend and we decided to go camping, enjoy nature, and of course, canoe. Our favourite spot is Jasper, Alberta, it's a quite town in Jasper National Park and in the summer it does get busy. We don't really go to the town but straight to the campground. There are several near by and we like to stick to those by the river so we can go down and walk by it. Check out this quick video and up vote. #Welovesteemit
This time, we decided we will revisit Athabasca Falls which is a great spot and personally I find to be the second best falls in Canada following Niagara Falls in Ontario. The third best is in Northwest Territories.
We then went to check out a lake near by then spend time (about 5hrs) on Pyramid lake with a rented canoe. Canoeing is great fun and workout that requires a bit of coordination and skill. Which is why after 5hrs and over 1500 calories burnt, I ended up taking a nap on the canoe when we got to shore before handing it over.
One thing we always do is find a good spot and time to meditate. Meditation is key to a good and healthy life as you get to clear your head and reset. Be it in a field of daisies or by a river, don't miss the opportunity!
Nice post, nature is wonderful , try to enjoy it as much as possible
I fear many people do not understand
Nice post, super photography!!!
one thing i love most about summer.. camping
I think that we all need to enjoy what nature has given us in order to
a) get out of the "stress" zones that we live in
&
b) to better appreciate nature and everything it is worth.
