Chocolate chip Blondies!
Been busy lately, and no pictures of interest but...
As a reward for myself, I decided to try make chocolate chip blondies!

end result
Recipe
So this recipe is actually one I found on TikTok, here's the list of ingredients:
- 115 grams unsalted melted butter
- 150 grams brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 125g flour
- 100g chocolate chips
Notes:
I didn't have plain flour, so I just didn't add baking powder and used what I had, self-raising flour :D
For the melted butter, I just put it in a bowl and, in the microwave, melted it in bursts of 30 seconds.
The process

step 1
To begin, I melted the butter, and added it to the brown sugar, I mixed it a bit, but it didn't really do anything.

step 2
I sifted the flour into the mix.

step 3
And added the chocolate chips! At this point I realised I had skipped a step (but didn't negatively affect it).

step 4 (should have been step 3)
I then added in the eggs!

step 5
And I gave it all a good mix.

step 6
I lined my baking dish with greaseproof paper, and slowly filled in the batter.
I put it in the oven for about 20 minutes, at 180 degrees celsius.
And result!!

final step! taste test
After letting it cool for about 20 minutes, I cut it into square / rectangles, and put it on a plate. The taste test resulted in delicious, and I've put it into Tupperware to store in the fridge (which google says I should do)
I really like the golden colour of the Blondies, @jen0revision ! I'm tempted to try this recipe now 🤤
