So you have received the 19.82 in Bytes, that is immediately available. (hold it on your wallet until the wallets come back online and then you can transfer it to an exchange for another crypto or your can hold it), the other half is locked in a smart contract for a year. You can create another wallet on another computer but this one is specifically tied to your steem account. That is why they just airdropped you a free $20 :)
Look, the only crypto that I have is steem. I have no wallet or exchange. How do I back up this wallet? Is there anything like a password? Does anybody can acess this wallet? Sorry for the ignorance...
You back up this wallet by going to the top left in home and clicking the 3 dashes. You think go to settings and scroll down to backups where you can backup the wallet seed and/or also run a full backup for a desktop i believe
