RE: Byteball Use-a-Thon: Byteball - A New Method of Paymet to Improve the Quality of Life for Venezuelans
Very good post! We received an entry fee from a privately attested user and thus we have no idea who the user actually is. Since your name isn't yet in the list of contestants, and your Steem username doesn't show up on https://byteball.co/steem/malos10 then it's quite likely that you are then participant that we haven't been able to identify yet.
To make it possible for others to follow (and potentially receive weekly awards or one of the final prizes) please go to your wallet and enter the chat with the Steem Attestation Bot. There, you can re-do the attestation but this time make sure to chose "public" attestation. That way, your Steem username will be linked to the wallet address, which also allows others to send Bytes directly to your Steem username instead of the long and cryptic wallet address.
When weekly awards are transferred, the Steem username of the winning participant is used to perform the transfer, so a public attestation is needed. If you need any help with changing the attestation to "public", please join the Byteball Slack and join the #byteball_use-a-thon channel. There, you will also find other contestants and be able to get good ideas and assistance to realizing your project.
A final word too: When you start exploring the possibilities to onboard merchants on the idea, I believe the Byteball Cashback program could be a further incentive to get both merchants and customers to want to try this out.
Thanks you very much for the call, i appreciated it. The attestation problem is solved now, my steem address is public now!
That is really interesting, i will read more and learn more about that program to include it in my action plan!
