Songkran is an amazing festival in Thailand and is celebrated on different days across the country based on how the river flows. It is the official Thai new year and everyone children and adults play in water fights in the streets with mini pools out everywhere to splash people. I have never seen anything like it! The water fights are really something!
I took this picture in Koh Samui during Songkran festival a few years ago and this is my favorite picture as it really captures the happiness of the people across Thailand at this time of year.
Songkran Festival je podle mne nejstastnejsim dnem na svete. Odehrava se po celem Thajsku v ruznych casovych etapach. V tehle dnech kazdy je ucastnikem nejvetsi vodni valky na svete, od malych deti az po ty nejstarsi. Tenhle svatek je take novym rokem pro Thajce a polevani vodou znamena smyti vseho zleho a krok do noveho roku v dobrem.
