B&W Photo Contest ~ Geometric Shapes ~ Entry #1: A Sunshine Recorder
"The sun,~ the bright sun, that brings back, not light alone, but new life, and hope, and freshness to man ~burst upon the crowded city in clear and radiant glory. Through costly-coloured glass and paper-mended window, through cathedral dome and rotten crevice, it shed its equal ray."
– Charles Dickens

I took this photo on a trip to Baler, Aurora, #Philippines. It was on a Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) weather station on top of a hill in Baler. The road going to the weather station was steep so there was some challenge going up there. These devices were setup on the rooftop of the station. The one in focus is a Sunshine recorder and at the back is a Solarimeter.
The photo above is my entry to this week's #bwphotocontest. The contest is hosted by @daveks. The theme for this round is "Geometric Shapes". @fakj94 will be judging this week. Goodluck to all participants this week! ✌️

Great shot PROF @ninjace! :) 50mm is a very good lens (my own opinion), it really focused on the subject, clear as crystal.
Yep the nifty fifty 😄
