This week's B&W Photo Contest theme is Nostalgia. Cool! At present, I'm working on a series that fits nicely into this theme, so I'm particularly excited. A big thank you to @daveks for organizing this challenge, to @papa-pepper for his generous support and to @cognoscere for being this week's judge.
And, of course, good luck to all the participants!
All my mobile photographs are taken with the iPhone 6s and the app Hipstamatic. These photographs were taken on The Holiday Train in NYC which celebrates the history of the subway system in New York. As you can see, some passengers really get into it by dressing up in vintage clothing, which makes the event really fun to photograph.

Great photos, Ilana! Very atmospheric, stylish vintage looks! I wouldn't say for sure if these photos were taken in 2017 or 1937 :) This challenge is amazing, so many gems could be found! I just started to participate this week in B&W contest as well! Followed you and upvoted, have a great Sunday!

Nailed it for sure. Nice shots. I'm going to try out that app too. Thanks! The hands and feet in the background of #3 got my attention after the lovely legs. Potential story to go with that shot?

...yeah, quite a pair of legs, eh?! Only that the place was part and what stood out the most were these willowy gams. It reminded me of an old movie poster.....thanks for your comments and suuport!
