I had the fortune to live just few hours far from the Italian Alps and went there whenever I had the opportunity! Took this shot in the beautiful Dolomites and here you can appreciate all the greatness and majesty of them!

Sure!! With pacience and good legs you can do almost everything :P It was not the highest or hardest point I've reached in the Alps but still.
When you get to the peak I reward myself with chocolate and great views/pictures, so I guess it is worth :)))

Absolutely it is! I've always seen the mountains to be a peaceful place that one can use to recharge himself and stay a bit alone, far away from the madness of our society.
