Путешествуя по России, очень часто можно встретить очень интересные и живописные места. Этот перекресток находится на подъезде к городу Козьмодемьянску республики Марий Эл.
Место очень красивое, в этом месте сходятся 3 дороги: одна к вышеуказанному городу (районному центру), расположенному на берегу Волги, другая - уходит в глубины самого района, третья - в сторону столицы. Вокруг одни поля с редкими посадками деревьев.

А это памятник местному герою Акпарсу, который установлен на этом перекрестке. Он отличился при взятии Казани в 1552-м году, тогда он командовал Горным полком, в котором сражались горные мари, чуваши, мордва.
Акпарс предложил устроить подкоп и взорвать крепость. Играя на гуслях, он подходил к крепости и узнал расстояние до стены. В результате стена была взорвана и Казань была взята.

And this is a monument to the local hero Aqpars, who is installed at this crossroads. He distinguished himself at the capture of Kazan in 1552, then he commanded the Mountain Regiment, in which the mountain mari, Chuvash, Mordva fought.
Akpars proposed to make a tunnel and blow up the fortress. Playing on the harp, he approached the fortress and learned the distance to the wall. As a result, the wall was blown up and Kazan was taken.
