Ideas On BEING SUCCESSFUL on STEEMIT
As a fairly new guy on steemit, I have been priviledge to meet some of the top guys on the platform in a very such interval of time, people like @destinysaid who my friends connected me to, @gbenga who graced us with his presence at one of our meetups and spoke large and wide concerning steemit and how to make best use of the platform, and in such a short time I have learnt what it takes to thrive on steemit.
In my talk with @gbenga, he said there is only one way to succeed on steemit and in his words I quote "backbreaking hardwork and community". I learnt very quickly that these people we respect and love to be around and listen to because of their tremenduous success on the platform and influence did not just make it where they are by just posting random articles, they fought their way there through consistency and building for themselves an awesome community of determined and serious minded individuals that see the big picture.
Posting once in a while or when you feel like as a newbie, posting amateur content by just reading from multiple sites and putting it in your own words won't get you anywhere, posting a very wonderful write-up and just getting one or two or even no vote and feeling discouraged will only leave you discouraged and broke. You have to pick yourself up, and be determined that your voice must be heard one way or another.

Community is the way
If people are not upvoting you, get out there and give insightful comments on other people posts so that you can be noticed and accumulate followers, no half-baked person ever gets successful. There will come a time where whatever will post will be upvoted by hundreds of people, but for now, let us work our way there through building a strong community of self-willed people that do not give up on the slightest "discouragement".
