The Unseen Opportunities
There are so many opportunities to establish ourselves on steemit. Opportunity as defined by the Cambridge dictionary is an occasion or situation that makes it possible to do something that you want to do or have to do, or the possibility of doing something. There are millions of opportunities all the time with varying difficulties in completing them. The onset of a new program brings to light easily accomplish-able opportunities that one needs to take control of and benefit a lot from.

I once had an opportunity which i regret letting it slide. I could be holding more than 100k in USD but i didn't see the potential early. I happen to have discovered raiblocks which is now nano very early. During the time i discovered it, it was worth pennies and one could earn it by just filling some capture work. I was able to accumulate just 79 raiblocks which grew to $2000 at its peak. Such is life. I didnt see the potential and played my game wrongly.
There are lots of similar opportunities on steemit right now and we are all taking it for granted. One day steemit is going to get to 100$ per steem or even more. Some of us will quit on the way and return to be holding just 10 sbd or steem. You will have just lost a huge opportunity. A lifetime opportunity of earning something substantial. Apple stocks was worth $0.46 in 1981. Those who saw the potential and bought in early now enjoy tremendous wealth because its now worth $168. Imagine steem reaching this height in 10 years time. Will it be worth it for you.
There are many investments that one can make on the steem blockchain but many times, we let people decide for us. I was very excited to see a local international exchange being made. Steemfuse is a local international exchange where you can easily convert fiat to steem and vice versa across the world. This is an opportunity to get a slice of something which will be very huge one day. Buildteam, steemfollower, pal network and many more programs on steemit have the potential of exploding to the roof. They are young and one day will grow. This post reminded me a sad story... Once upon a time, there was a young crypto investor who knows nothing but losing money. He had 382 Raiblocks and when he saw that the price of Bitcoin was increasing, he sold out the whole of his XRB's for just 2000 satoshis. After Three months, Each one of the coins, XRB, was worth 35$... Suprisingly, he did not commit suicide...Sorry but at least may I cry :(
awe. You sold your XRB. I almost sold mine but because it was worth pennies i decided to forget about them. Thats how come i still have my xrbs with me
i entered steemit with the same idea. its just been more than a week but now i am little disappointed.
Dont worry. We all face the same hurdles from time to time yet we move on. I really remember earning some few pennies when i first joined. It wasnt easy but we moved on and it is becoming better. Very good post, many people wish they invested into numerous things. In hindsight everyone wishes they dropped all their fiat on bitcoin in 2010. Everyone would be rich. You are right there are still many opportunities out there including steemit. If you have any extra fiat laying around many cryptos are at November pricing and a great time to buy! I like the reference you used (apple). The same thing with the successful companies who survived the "dot com" boom back in the late 90's and early 2000. This type of opportunity comes in every other nearly couple of decades. So if the history will repeat itself through this new innovative invention in the field of technology(Blockchain), we are all lucky being part of the early stage of its development. Let's just enjoy the process and enjoy the harvest time in the future.

The xrb story happened to me so many times with coins I got from 2016. I enjoyed gains from some but overall I saw so many opportunities I couldn't take them all. My 2017 experience was with Oyster pearls :) those went just as xrb: parabolic.
I guess the moral of all this story is to try and make a stand and wait for proper growth before you want to cash out on any crypto. At least save half. Thats what i will say
