A FEW MOMENTS OF ANXIETY ON STEEMIT 😰
A short while ago I had tried a post on Steemit - now I guess we are up and running again.
When I first logged on, there was nothing at all, some time later I got my account, but it was about 2 weeks behind. Just to test I tried to post this under that header:
Is Steemit down again?
but transmission failed - so I saved it on a rtf doc as a draft:

a sort of chicken monster that might have interrupted steemit servers.
Wondering what it was? A DoS attack?
But I am glad we are back again!
What I did notice however is quite a difference in the Wallet between steemit and busy - the steem numbers are the same, but the account $ value shown on busy is much higher.

Middle clicking works to open in new tab too ;D I like the chicken monster, it's cute ^_^
I try not to keep resteeming you all the time but then you keep posting my new favorite piece of art.
I missed Steemit being weird; perhaps that is a good thing.

I love your chicken beast, of course I love animals in art and I also love chickens, so it is a win win for me :)
thank you - seems many of my monsters are "chicken" - sort of a play with words also. I had a drawing decades ago of which only a very blurry analog photo exists, so I wanted to sort of bring it up again. I did it again as a charcoal on panel, but in the process of imprimatura before painting it, I washed it out (fixative is not enough, I found out, I should have also clear-coated it first) . Fortunately, I have good images of the charcoal drawing, and I plan on posting them (and the stages) in the near future.
I don't like to do the same, so I just used it as a general guide.

It has been taking a few moments for mine to log in, but no time travel yet.

I also had some problems these days. Two weeks of steemit posts were completely missing. Then it was down (I guess when they fixed it) and after a while everything was up again.
I love this creature - for me it's not a monster though :P It has such a warm and caring expression..
