This is really serious stuff you are talking about here.
And while I agree that just taxing co2 is not enough, in our current economic system this is as good as it gets.
Taxes do of course have an impact, just imagine the US would enforce a carbon tax of 200 USD per ton... how much coal do you think would still be burned.
And I seriously hope that the reference to climate deniers is just a joke.

If anybody seriously has doubts about the science of global warming please got to some science based site like: https://skepticalscience.com/ and spent at least 15 minutes there... if this does not help, nothing will. This i not meant to be arrogant, I am just so surprised about reading stuff like that in this blog...
