We continue our journey. The first city after passing the Polish border is in the west of Slovakia. City Sered on the river Vah. The city is not big, but very beautiful and cozy. There are several large supermarkets, several large factories, an ancient church, a city park, and much more. Most of all, the city of Sered is famous for its sugar factory and winery. This city is also called water hail. The population of the city is only 17,000 people. The first mention of the city was dated in the 9th century. There was a great fortress Shintava. In the city remained the ruins of the castle and the Church of St. John.
