Proposal to establish a hunting season for double-crested cormorants in Ontario
I will definitely be active on this issue. Wildlife management by the gun has to end. There is a proposal that was just posted yesterday and that is open for comments for 45 days, to Jan. 3 2019.

Over the holidays is a tough time for activist to engage with the public. That is why they put up this controversial proposal now.
*50 cormorants bag limit? No possession limit?
*Shooting birds from boats okay?
*ok to leave dead bird rotting?
*open season from spring to fall?
My photo is that of a wood duck, not a cormorant. That is all I had handy at the moment. I want to see more birds in our skies not piles of thousands of dead carcasses.
Please let me know if you want to fight this proposed assault on our birds.
