I feel that sometimes the hashtags get crowded out too fast. Quality content is just hidden after 1 or 2 mins in the feed because the quantity of posts is just too high. Nowadays i can't really think of what tags to use to improve my visibility. It seems the only way is to get high votes (from bots etc) just to push it up for that day. But with limited capital on hand, I can only do a few times a month, so I'm not sure if thats sustainable.
Stick to some communities first while building your audience from the early day. Along the way you may participate in project like Utopian for quick cash. Voteing bots is the fastest way but not the only way to self-promotion.
