Are you committed or just interested to achieve your goals?
Hello steemians!!!
Today, I'm going to talk about the reasons why some people do not achieve their goals, and the steps towards achieving them. But before that, I want you to know the difference between commitment and interest.
Commitment is the quality of being dedicated to something, or activity, while interest is the feeling of wanting to know or learn about something. Some people think that being committed to something is the same as being interested.
Let me tell you friends, when someone is interested, he does what is convenient. H e will try to believe his stories, and excuses and will continue to be a victim of his currents circumstances. He will always have excuses why he can't achieve those goals, and that is what he will be focusing on for the rest of his life. Now, the big difference is if he is committed. He will start today to let go of his stories, excuses.
Listen, if you are committed, you will try your best to improve your knowledge, your skills through reading books, making research on Internet and other platforms toward achieving your goals. You will do whatever it takes, no matter what.
So decide whether you will be committed or just interested to achieve your goals.
If you are committed, Here are some steps I'm suggesting you to follow in order to achieve your goals
- Write down one main goal, just one for every area of your life
- Write down when you want to achieve it
- Write down three action steps you have to take in order to achieve them
- Finally, go to work
Great post. I believe that person who is committed will reach their goal because they are determined and will not allow anyone or thing stop them from achieving that which they strongly desire to obtain.
Nice article Jona. You do see this in life with a lot of people and they still remain in their same position years later living of excuses and then justifying their actions with those same excuses.
