Binondo in Manila, Philippines is known as the World's oldest Chinatown. This was established in 1594. It had been an active place of commerce for Chinese traders.

Aside from wet markets and feng shui shops, temples and old churches, Binondo is also a haven for good eats and so I've been here for about three times. There's always something new to try. There are over 100+ restaurants in the area so it can be quite overwhelming to decide where to eat first.

First Stop : Ying Ying Tea House Restaurant
Dimsum, rice toppings, and noodles are just some of the things you can find in Ying Ying Tea House Restaurant’s affordable and wide-ranging Chinese cuisine menu. We ordered the famous Hakao, Crabstick Roll and Roast Duck Asado Rice. Ying Ying served a complimentary teapot of hot Chinese tea the moment we sat down.

After having our breakfast, we continue to walk around. You will see traditional stalls where you can buy different nuts and Chinese preserves like plums. And some Chinese cultures, like altars.

We stopped by The Presidents Tea House to buy our favourite, Salted Egg Custard buns. Don't miss it! It was really really good!

And another stop to eat the famous Shanghai Fried Siopao. You can see it just beside the street. It's cheap and super delicious.

And that conclude our short food trip to Binondo town. We went to Divisoria afterwards. Divisoria is a commercial center in Tondo, Manila, Philippines known for its shops that sell low-priced goods and its diverse manufacturing activities.
