Life Lesson - 7 Days of Sun Tzu: Day 3
Sorry guys. Life has been so busy that I haven't been able to update!
Here is day 3:
“The natural formation of the country is the soldier’s best ally”
This proverb teaches me to be aware of my current environment. The current environment can be the people you surround yourself with, your current job or just where you live. When you understand your surroundings, you are able to turn that into your true ally. I believe that we are the hills and valleys of a certain organization. We have to be able to look at where we can drive change and where we can accept change. We are the ones that influence innovation. This also is about understanding who you are. If you know that you are a social person, you may view the situation differently from someone who is an introvert. A terrain is different between two individuals. Understand the terrain you are in and learning the landscape is also learning about the people you work with. How you know someone can be your greatest asset. What makes someone tick or what someone's motivations are can help influence your current situation you are in. Every unique person comes from a set of desires and experiences and as long as you can take it with positivity, you can truly influence your battles.
