1Broker Domain Seized by FBI
1Broker is a Trading Platform with Forex, Stocks, Commodities. You could trade them anonymously and deposit withdrawal BTC. They also had a neat thing called - follow traders, where you could just leave cash and copy-paste successful traders. I have to say just this worked good for me.
I even wanted to withdrawal money of there literally 2 days ago but there was so many pumps.. I just was too busy trading.
Today the domain got seized by FBI and website went down.
1Broker just put a short notice on this, saying that due to SEC they wont be able to withdrawal money to USA-based people.
Thing is, it seems not just USA people cant get money out - nobody can and they speak this is due to SEC while SEC has nothing to do with non-USA residents. I would not be surprised if all the funds went gone.
This is a good reminder that all funds you put on exchanges (unless decentralized) can be gone any minute so if you have too many laying here and there - why not withdrawal some now.

Dude i got to ask. How would you feel if you came to steemit.com and saw it seized by the fbi? Next one going down is proof of weak hands (POWH 3D). That one should though, just like bitconnect. But they are in an aggressive movement these days.
Good reason to keep all your coins off exchange unless you've got active sell limit or stop-limit orders out. They say invest in crypto only what you can afford to lose. I'd say keep on exchanges only what you are intending to eventually lose.

I was reading into this exchange yesterday and the allegations and when I was reading it I saw read flags to begin with, an exchange that doesn't require verification was a big huge red flag, and then just needing an email and only accept bitcoin. When dealing with exchanges because of taxes if they don't ask for verification it should be a HUGE RED FLAG. The one thing the people of the world can't escape is taxes and governments around the world want their share, if an exchange is not asking for he information they need for the tax man you can expect it to be shut down. Okay those are my thoughts on this broker...

I have a few coins in Hubio which is a chinese outfit. A few weeks ago they were unaccessable to me for a while because of international trade disputes. It was kind of scary and I thought I lost all of my TRX and ADA and EDU. Thankfully things have worked out and I can access my funds again. Crypto is a very volitle economic system to try and depend upon for your living. Think about all of the Steemians that depend upon this plaform for their income. I would advise heeding to the old adage, dont put all you eggs in one basket.

I've been careful to withdraw anything I wasn't looking to trade in the short term. It is eventually going to get into problems with the US. Keep in mind how the US is able to manipulate all other countries by being the reserve currency AND the most powerful military that has not hesitated to invade countries that piss us off economically.
I wanted to try this website and happy to never made the move. ;)
