Introducing bSteem for iOS and Android!
Hello Steemians,
I have just released the bSteem mobile app for both iOS and Android!

The goal for bSteem is to ensure the best user experience on the steem blockchain.
Viewing Posts & Custom bSteem Feed
Viewing and sorting of posts by trending, hot, active, and new is supported. You can also press on a tag, and that will take you to its respective feed, and you will be able to sort it. Also whenever you save a tag, we aggregate all your saved tags and create a customized "bSteem" Feed for you!
Save your favorite posts, users, and tags
When viewing a feed by tag, a post, or a users profile, you’ll be able to save it by clicking on the ‘star’ icon. This will show up in the saved content screen, you can access this screen by clicking the star icon on the top right of the home (for logged in users) and news screens! This is supported for both unlogged and logged in users.
Finding Content
You can now search for anything! Your search results will be divided into 3 sections - tags, posts, and users. Quickly find what you’re looking for by pressing on the ‘globe’ icon and fill in the input with what you would like to search for.
Using SteemConnect to login
bSteem will never ask you for your password/private keys! All authentication is done with SteemConnect. When logged in you can do most of the normal actions that you would on steemit.com, busy.org, or dtube. Such as voting on a post, voting on comments, following users, and creating posts.
Photo Gallery for quick preview and sharing of post images
If a post has an image, you can click on it to view the image gallery and you can share the image with all your friends!
Rewards
Unlike other apps out there on the app store, whenever you create a post on bSteem, we do not take any rewards. Some apps take 10% of your rewards, we would never do that.
What’s in the future for 2018?
- Notifications
- Optimize performance of the app
- A better user-friendly design to provide an even richer user experience
- Ability to pick and choose between dark/light theme or even multiple themes
- Better integration with other apps on steem, such as @dtube, @dlive, @busy, @steemit

Just installed Bsteem on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Very nice tool with a lot of power. Thank you for doing this. Do you have any video tutorials where you show some of the features and walk us through them?

I do not have any video tutorials, would be great if someone could make one haha.
So busy focusing on adding new features to the app / bug fixes. I want to focus on technology first rather than all the gimmicky marketing that other apps on steem are doing..
I hear you and like that you're focusing on creating such great technology. Would you be open to a short interview where we could show BSteem on the screen and create some quick "how-to" and content-related material? Ummmm what is the difference of this app and steepshot ? Nuttin biggy , just asking, today I also saw post about some app like this called steepshot .
Steepshot is an instagram like app, which only allows you to post a picture and a limited amount of words, made for photographers. This is the whole shabam.
Bsteem can upload all at once ?
@applelex no, as in on steepshot you can only view the content uploaded to steepshot, on bsteem you can view everything on steemit.com

Not too sure haven’t used steepshot. But the goal of bsteem is to make it the best user friendly app on Steem

A really great app, thank you for doing this! Can you take a look at embedding photos into a post? The button does not work on android 7.0.

I enabled the voting slider and a lower default percentage on Android and when voting under comments it still voted at 100%.

Update worked for vote slider!
Image icon does not do anything in posting screen. Google Nexus 5 with Android 6.
Ahh I wish I could test on an Android 6, image icon should take you to photo browser, might not work for older android versions for now. Sorry about that!
Congratulations!! We have needed this. I will install it and review it.
Have only used the app briefly, and I love it! My only recommendation would be allowing QR codes for logging into Steem Connect.

Hey thanks for the feedback! Yes notifications will be coming soon, and activity page needs to be updated as well as logo :)
Just got your latest update on Android and the image upload now works on Android 6. You seriously rock!
