Bethesda Announce Fallout 76, Not a Single-Player RPG!

in #busy7 years ago

Teaser with an announcement that turns faster than E3 2018, Bethesda has finally officially unveiled the mystery-related Fallout that they had launched in the last few days. The mystery project is sure to lead to Fallout 76. The number "76" itself certainly leads to Vault 76, one of 122 Vaults which is a subterranean hideout after a nuclear war. Had been discussed in some series before, Vault 76 is Vault contains 500 people and open in just 20 years after the nuclear war. When talking about the timeline, Fallout 76 will be the Fallout series with the earliest timeline compared to the previous Fallout series.

The problem? Bethesda did not talk much about what kind of gameplay she would offer, besides introducing her through a short teaser. Information spread in cyberspace, especially through the investigation process of the famous game journalist Kotaku - Jason Schereier called it a "different" Fallout game. How different? That unlike Fallout 3, 4, or New Vegas, Fallout 76 is not a single-player RPG game as we know it. Jason called it an "Online Survival RPG" game that prioritizes multiplayer features inspired by games like Rust and Dayz. Features build mechanical style headquarters from Fallout 4.

Taking the theme of Vault 76, the Kotaku source mentions that Fallout 76 is not the single-player RPG game we know all along. He is said to be a multiplayer game with elements of building a headquarters a la Rust or Ark: Survival Evolved.

Fortunately, based on information from three different sources that Jason found also, Fallout 76 remains confirmed to have both a side story and a quest. Bethesda is said to want to make this game a "live-service" project where they can change and add more content to it. He is also said to have been developed by two major Bethesda - Besthesda studios in Maryland that work on games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim and Bethesda Austin that in the past could handle BattleCry multiplayer games that ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, there is no information about Bethesda's strategy to gain money with her.

Bethesda promised to disclose more detailed information related to this Fallout 76 at the upcoming 2013 E3 event which counted weeks. It will certainly be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and of course - PC. A game of Rust or Ark: Survival Evolved with the Fallout universe? Sound interesting in your ear?
