You think you know God?

I have been pondering over the question a friend asked some time ago. The question goes "I know there is only one God-Jesus, but why is it that sometimes when people from other religions pray to their God, their prayers are equally answered?"
The truth is, religion, spirituality, and God is a very complex thing, one we clearly cannot fathom. We still struggle to understand ourselves, not to mention God. Every day new discoveries are made, new species, new illness, new ideas. That is to say, there is still a lot to learn about our planet. There are 195 countries in the world and 8 planets in our solar system. We have about 300 billion stars in the milky way galaxy; and over 100 billion galaxies in the 'observable' universe, each with their billions of stars and planets...You still think you know God?!
The concept of God is deep and divine, completely esoteric. You have only one job in this life, to be a good Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or any other belief.
Whatever you are, whatever you follow; be a light for which others look upon. The knowledge and deep understanding of God is obviously not something that was made for you and me.
