If only there was a way to make more time.
So many things are up in the air in my life right now. I'm sure everyone else is feeling the same way.

The price of Bitcoin, the price of Steem, working, writing, and pursuing other interests. It's true that writing isn't just about making money, but I sure would like to be able to make even a meager existence from it.
However, I must work a job 7 days a week. I know most people work five to seven days a week, and that most of the waking world revolves around getting up to go to our job.
At that job we work for someone else. I'm sure in school you learned about the term indentured servant. Well that's sort of what we all are. It's true that we have our nights to ourselves.... to come home and sleep in our own beds or wherever we happen to sleep....but we've got to get up in the morning and go do someone else's bidding for that entire day.
Some people enjoy their jobs more than others.
I remember when I was a young child my parents always used to tell me that the key to happiness is finding what you like to do and making a living doing it.
Well, I like to write fiction and I haven't figured out how to make a living doing it yet....but I am certainly working on it every day despite the fact that i have to go to my restaurant job 7 days a week.
If only there was a way to make more time.
There are so many things that each of us wants to do. Going on vacation, spending some time trying to find the perfect mate if you don't already have that perfect mate, spending time in the garden, or even just going for a walk or a bike ride.
Of course you probably even have a TV show that you'd like to watch a few episodes of, but you can't because you've got to go to bed because you need at least a few hours of sleep in order to be able to get through your job that you've got to go to as soon as you wake up.
Those are the trials and tribulations of having a working existence. In today's world we all have to have a working existence in order to pay our bills. That is, unless you happen to have been born with a silver spoon in your mouth so to speak. Rich parents and all the rest.

While I think that would certainly be cool, I also feel like I would want to be able to be useful. That's why having a job is good too.... because you feel like you're doing something. As long as you have a job where you're helping people then I think that's pretty cool.
Personally I think it would be neat to be really rich because I could just sit down and write all day and not have to worry about actually going out and doing any manual labor for my money.
If you don't think working at a restaurant is manual labor then I'd say you probably haven't done it before.
I'm not saying I hate my job either. For the most part the people I work with are really good people. I'm just saying that I spend way more time delivering food to people then I do writing, and I'm quite certain that writing is what I'd like to do for the rest of my life.
I'd really enjoy leaving the restaurant business forever.
I've been working at this restaurant for a really long time now. People come in and say you're still here? I think i was just about to get married when I first met you and now my wife and I have been together for quite a long time.
Sometimes it's nice to be able to get to know people like that because you form a bond over a long period of years. That can definitely a good thing for someone in the restaurant business because not only do you get the benefit of a friendship but that person is more likely to leave you a larger tip. That might sound crass, but we need these tips in order to survive because our entire paycheck is just tips and nothing else.
Nevertheless, I wish there was more time. There are so many things that I want to do with my life but I find myself aging and not really enjoying the whole ageing process.
I wouldn't mind it so much if I had time to sit in the front porch and drink a glass of lemonade or to sit by my barbecue pit and enjoy a beer in the middle of the day.
Wouldn't that be nice?
Instead it's all about juggling what I'm going to do next. I've got to check this forum, check that, this, if this person needs this, or that person needs this other thing. I want to make sure I have every little thing filled in, every little thing crossed and every little jot with a dot above it.... but it can be difficult.
Sometimes you even forget to pay a bill here and there you know?
This because there's so much going on. I know everyone has the same problem. Maybe one day universal basic income will actually become a thing.

Maybe we will be able to find our joy by having this universal basic income. If it does become a thing I know the people that have been around in the cryptocurrency world are going to be some of the first people to experience it.
Until then though I'd just like a little bit more time. I don't know how to get it, and I think maybe it's impossible to get it, but I will keep hoping for more time.
In the mean time I'll be making my own time to be sure I get my writing done, and to make sure that I'm able to fulfill all my responsibilities, including the ones that I don't enjoy.
I'll be getting up tomorrow and going to my same job.... but when I come home I hope to be writing again and making more blogs.
Of course there's also the cleaning, cooking, laundry, and everything else. I really need to go wash my car now that I think about it.
I know everyone suffers the same issues though.
I wish you all the best and I hope that you find a way to make more time
I hope we all do.
No silver spoons here.. I need more time.

You're right, most people can relate to having to go to work and building our schedules around that reality. I'm glad you find the time to be here, my friend. You're appreciated!
