Kepada tersangka, penyidik mengenakan Pasal 82 UU RI No. 35 Tahun 2014 tentang perubahan kedua UU RI No. 23 tahun 2002 tentang perlidungan anak dan Perubahan Pengganti Undang-undang (Perpu) No. 1 tahun 2016, dengan ancaman maksimal 15 tahun penjara, dan denda Rp 5 miliar.
