Spanish grammar course: The irregular past tense verbs.
We learned the last class about the morphemes of the regular past tense verbs in Spanish. We learned its conjugation according the infinitive verb. So, today we will see the different conjugations of the irregular past tense form. These are some irregular verbs and its conjugations:
Infinitive verbs ending in -ar
Andar (to walk around)
Conjugation 1
Yo (I) anduve (walked around)
Tú (you) anduviste (walked around)
Ella (she) anduvo (walked around)
Él (he) anduvo (walked around)
(it) anduvo (walked around)
Nosotros (we) anduvimos (walked around)

Infinitive verbs ending in -ar, the vowel 'o' predominates in the past tense conjugation.

Infinitive verbs ending in -er, the vowels ‘i’ and 'o' predominate in the past tense conjugation.
They change some letters partially but they have the same conjugations of regular verbs.
Another conjugations:
These are irregular past tenses verbs. They behave a little different. These are exceptions. They change totally its original form in past tense.

Exercises: Write a short sentence in past. Use the noun or pronoun and the infinitive verb given. Follow the example:
