Spanish grammar course: regular past tense verbs.
We have learnt that the morpheme of verbs in Spanish is varied, in the past tense has a conjugation according the infinitive verb. So, let´s see the different conjugations in past tense according to the infinitive verbs endings in –ar, -er, -ir. These are regular verbs.
Infinitive verbs ending in -ar
Amar (past)

Yo (I) amé (loved)
Tú (you) amaste (loved)
Ella (she) amó (loved)
Él (he) amó (loved)
(it) amó (loved)
Nosotros (we) amamos (loved)

Infinitive verbs ending in -ar, the vowel 'o' predominates in the past tense conjugation.
