Driver-helper killed by pushing the truck hit
Driver and helper of another truck has been killed by pushing the truck standing in Chouddagram of Comilla. The accident happened on the head of Sonakathiya road in Chauddagram upazila of Dhaka-Chittagong highway on Tuesday.
The deceased were identified as Nasir Uddin, 55, son of Golam Mahmud, and Abdul Hamid, 25, son of Dudu Mia of Sikandarparara in Chakaria thana of the same district of the same area, of truck driver, Dhotun village of Fatikchari thana of Chittagong district.
Chauddagram Police Station Sub-Inspector Dewan Ziaur Rahman said the truck was standing in the Dhaka-bound generator (Chatt Metro-05-0531). The driver of the rear vehicle and the helper was killed on the spot when another truck (Feni-T-05-0125) came from behind. Police recovered the bodies of Chaudhdgram Police Station.
