Thank you so much for writing this article from the perspective of a conscientious American citizen. It is very refreshing for us peeps who live outside of America to read something like this, to remind us of all the good people living in America.

It is incredibly sad that the propaganda peddled by the American government is so pervasive... producing a swathe of ridiculously passionate, racist citizens watching Fox News and viciously approving of perpetual war with 0% knowledge / emapthy with others...

I visited Chicago recently and saw a great skit by a bald piano player about American propaganda, and I think it's too good not to share:

"One day my daughter came to me and said: daddy, I've got two options for a career, and I want your honest opinion...

'The first one is I'll go west to LA and become a porn star. That's right, hit the sunshine coast and hit it hard! And I'll fuck and I'll suck and all on camera. And then, when the credits roll, there'll be your last name, up on the screen. Wouldn't that be great??'

(So I thought, damn... I guess whatever the second job is has GOT TO be better than that...) Ahem! Ok, well sounds good... but what's the other option, pumpkin??

'Well daddy, I'll go out east to New York City. The Big Apple! And I'll become a news anchor for FOX NEWS. I'll get botox and tell everyone the real hardhitting news under the bright lights. And then, when the credits roll, there'll be your last name, up on the screen. Wouldn't that be great??'

So I took a quick pause just to process things, and then boomed: WELL PUMPKIN, you're going to LA!! Pack your things, and be quick about it. I'm driving you to LA, right now!

You see, sweetie: I'd rather you fuck every Tom, Dick and Harry on the whole west coast than fuck over the entire world! So let's get in our good ol' Ford and fire up the engine, we're taking you to LA!"
